A shuttle bus service runs from Perpignan Airport (Rivesaltes) to Perpignan bus station and then to Perpignan train station. Single fare is 4.50 euros - groups 3 euros.
Arrivals
As soon as you have claimed your baggage make your way out of the terminal and the bus will be found waiting just outside -  it leaves shortly afterwards.    It pauses for a few minutes in the bus station before continuing on to the train station - both of which are in the centre of Perpignan.  Make a mental note of these stops if you intend using the bus for your return journey.
Departures
The bus departs just outside the train station (with your back to the station the bus pick-up is on the left).
Timetable
 Please ask for a timetable (Horaire Navette Aeroport) when you board the bus to prepare for the return journey.  
   Otherwise confirm the service with the bus company (Courriers Catalans) Tel: 00 33 4 68 55 68 00  
The timetable reproduced below is the 2004 timetable.  The timetable for this year (2005) is exactly the same.  There is no reason to suppose that similar arrangements will not be made in future but please do not rely on this information to plan your journey.
Check-in times
Please note that the bus service allows 1 hour (or less) for check-in.  This may be acceptable for internal flights but Ryanair recommends you check-in 2 hours before departure so check this out with your airline.  My personal tip is to catch an earlier bus (intended for an earlier flight) that gets you to the airport about 2 hours before take-off.
